Oh, my delicious food...

Oh, my cheesy wedges, my cheese sandwich, cheese cake, milky cup, fried chicken, kolok mee, hot dog cheese bun....... and lots more my delicious food....

i have a propose to you all.... will you all please STOP 'seducing' me? I want to diet and my new aim by end of this year is to reduce my over gain weight of 4kg this year. I got the increase of my weight since after CNY and up to today, there isn't much improvement. :(

Oh my delicious food.... if only you can stop 'seducing' me, then i shall be thankful to you all and be glad to retain back my slim look... :P

So, my food o food, please cooperate with me, let me be able to skip 'you' all at least during lunch time, alright?

See 'you' all when i successfully reduce my weight. Gambate in my diet course within these two months. ^.^

Outing on 06.09.09

After church, i went for shopping with buddies- Ying Hui, Charlene and Taufu Mei ah Sam at Parkson. Basically, we spent the whole afternoon, evening and night time day. Or better yet, we can say that Parkson become another house of us. We help Ying Hui in choosing some formal clothes, and finally she successfully bought two formal long sleeves shirt and a skirt. This is as a preparation for her new field of job - marketing! oh yeah, marketing.... same area as me. lol!~

During the walk, i bought myself an FM Car Modulator MP3 & WMA) for RM22.00. It's quite a great thing because with this, i can save my time of burning or buying CD that i like. The problem with this gadget is the sound quality might not be as clear the one played in car radio. Yet, better than nothing, right?

We settled our lunch at McDonald and dinner at Sushi King. At the same time, manage to dapao for burger for a fren work in Giant. :)

For the Month of August

The month of August has been a very memorable month for me. I experienced lots of my first time during the month and the end of Jul.

My first time of:
(1) Visiting dentist (unbelievable, isn't it?)
My teeth and gum was stuck by a fish bone. I went to visit dentist for the removal. The dentist used less than a minute to help me remove the bone. Since i have reached dental place, i asked the dentist to help me checking my teeth too. He said that i got some 'wire teeth' (not sure what is the proper name for '牙丝', so he applied some medical and cleansed my teeth. I paid RM65 for the overall dental trip.

(2) Received White Roses
The flowers were specially presented by my small group friends. I love the flowers very much and i'm still keeping the flowers although the flowers dried already. Thanks for the flowers!

(3) Trekking Niah Cave (last day of Aug - National Day)
Believe it or not, this is my first time going to Niah Cave after staying in Miri for 22 years. I missed out the opportunites to go there during school time. Alas! I got chance to treasure there. We went in five person a group and happened to meet one American guy - Derek on our journey back. Oh yeah, my first American friend. hehe.. Thanks to Uncle William for bringing me to the cave. :)

(4) Walking under Rain for more than one hour? or half an hour?
This is referring to Niah Cave trekking. During our journey there, the rain started to pour down when we reached Painting Cave. We walked under rain when returning to the hole and cars. The Fortunately we were all able to enjoy and reach the cave; also taking some nice shots before the rain.

(5) Going and Staying in a Long house
I went to Rumah Nanggai and Rumah Chandang in Balingian on 22 - 24 August 2009. I went there for mission trip (my first mission trip too). Together with other members, we spread gospel to the children, share stories with them, teaching them art work, share different meals together. I experience lots of my first time during my stay at long house - bathing in the river (actually not bad at all :P), pray in BM, tying hair for children........

New Look - Welcome!~

It's been one and half month I've not yet updated my blog. Hello there! Finally, I'm back to blogging lifestyle! As a new start, I give my blog new look - new layout, widgets and features. I change my blog title from 'Me, Myself and I' to 'I am Who I am' or in Chinese i name '唯我独尊' to give a more 'killing' mood to my blog. The title also acts a reminder to me on how great i am made and stay under God's grace.

Some of my friends asked "Lina, what happen to your blog?"

I'm not sure what i've answered already. However, when i rethink back the question, i regret to say that it is due to my addiction on facebook games. I was addicted to Farm Town and Bejeweled Blitz. I feel like i have wasted too much time on gaming. Therefore, i dare not to start a new game after slowly reducing my addiction to the games. =.=

Irene's Birthday

My Hunt for New Phone ^ ^

After having my phone laid off for quite few months, finally, i decided to get myself a new phone. I plan to get an SE phone for this round as i have used Nokia phone for long already. Sometimes, we do need a change, don't we?

My hunt wasn't taking much of my time, roughly two hours and here it is:

SE W595 in Pink
(Features: Walkman 3.0 music player; 2GB memory card, 3G, 3.2 MP camera, Youtube, Shake Control, SenseMe, FM Radio, dual headset & Auto Rotate)

I fell in love with this phone the first moment i saw it. I'm not really a pink lover, but just couldn't resist myself to falling in love with the design and the unique colour of the phone. Perhaps due to that i seldom spot pink colour phone in market.

I've doubt that if i have to act more 'girly' when holding this phone. :P

Not forgetting too, thanks to my bro's friend, Yong Chee for accompaniment and precious idea in choosing the phone. :)

Toastmaster Appreciation Dinner

Colleagues

Ms Tuen is having her last day training in my working place here two days ago. We managed to snatch some photos:

The next day, Justin and I took Ms Tuen to Siamese to have some great dinner - Lamb Chop, Fish Fillet Chop, and Chicken Pizza. We have forest Tea as our drinks. Altogether we ate up RM60.30, including drinks. After that, we rushed to Cineplex to watch the latest shown movie, Terminator Salvation. What a great movie it is! The movie ended at 10.45pm; shorter than we expected as we expected.

几LUCKY下的咯

前天午饭时间我驾车到CIMB BANK开户口,
很远下的说,
从SENADIN下来到富丽华一带大概用了15分钟,
幸好是学校假期我才能在15分钟内赶到,
平时时间的话至少要20 - 30分钟.
来到BANK时,
刚好也有两个人在开着户口(可见他们是填好FORM了).
我等呀等,
等呀等,
等到1.00PM终于轮到我了(有够慢的说=.='''),
看到时间1.00PM不知我该跑开一下还是继续留

(上班时间到了,PARKING COUPON时间开始计算)
我想应该不会那么快有人来查票吧,
况且好不容易终于轮到我了,
当然选着继续留来处理完文件先.
处理完来大概是1.28PM,
好衰不衰真的中奖了,
是几LUCKY下的咯..
明天我要去还RM15来解决掉这笔帐,
不然在涂下去的话就要还RM20了.
害到我损失一碗STEAK的钱咯.

Happy + Relax :-D

I am in happy and relax mood recently.

Happy because:

(1) I found new mission of life
(2) Settle my last sem fee
(3) Finally bought a pair of sports shoes for myself (not only suitable for jogging; but also for hiking :-D)
(4) My baby (小白) got tinted - not much worries on heat and fading prb now :-D
(5) Little hamster gave birth yesterday
(6) Starting hair care prods (Schwarzkopf Moisture Kick conditioner & Repair Rescue)
(7) Sleep earlier now (except today due to blogging :P)
(8) The twins are coming back to Malaysia in less than 9 days.
(9) Uni mate back to Miri study together.
(10) Elected to be the Treasurer of TM club 2009/2010.
(11) Move to new office - more convenient and comfortable zone
(12) Starting healthy lifestyle.
(13) Finished catching up with Prison Break series.
(14) Received 'Tan Tart' from a friend this evening specially brought from KL. Thanks!
(15) Get contact back with my old sch friend, Amalina A. Looking forward for your minum minum; makan makan soon. :-D

Happened to join the camp during Gawai holidays. It was really unexpected when i registered and invited another friend, Meiling to join together for the camp. As before this, i had rejected so many times to be involved in related church activities and camp. I feel glad that i join the camp in the end; and i believe that it is nonetheless, God's purpose in me; in directing me to the exact and correct path. Glad that Meiling joint together for the camp and together learnt more on Christ and fellowship. Besides learning, we also experienced certain new things, new ways of exercising and bathing and so on. In short, it was a lovely camp to treasure!

Thread found in bread!

This morning, i woke up and have my breakfast - bread with egg mayo. I ate and ate till i found something quite long and whitish 'built' in the bread. I was not sure what it was and decided to pull it out. Holy cow! It was a thread! oh gosh! Luckily i managed to see it and escaped from eating the thread. Phew...

GMC Camp

I went to Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort last week for GMC Camp (8 - 10 May 2009). It was quite an interesting experience as it was my first time went there. Also, my first time go for 'jungle trekking'. Here are some photo sharing:

HaPPy LaBouR DaY

Guess that most of us here having an idea on mind on what to do today; some might take this chance to stroll around with friends; some go to the Bintang Megamall to check out the latest updates of shops there (what my brother did this afternoon); some might take chance to rest at home just like me. Time to restore back my long used of energy. =)

I spend most of my time going online today, browsing MC.net forum, Cari forum and chatting with friends. I've out one lovely thing as below (picture taken by us: Jennifer viewed from left; while I viewed from right), what a coincidence, isn't it? =P

Well, two more hours and today will become past; wish all of you have a fruitful and happy Labour Day today! Cheers! =)

"Don't Let the Chance Go Away"

A few sharing on the books i have read tonight 'Don't Let the Chance Go Away':

Shakespear once said "God won't lend a hand to those who do not put in action"

Have you ever asked yourself quetion like this "Do i got a chance to do it? Will i have a chance to be promoted? Will i succeed in future?, "Why is that i don't have the chance to do it while other people are so easy to get the chance?" and so forth.

Chance won't humble themselves and come to you. There are most of the time that we need to move ourselves, we need to be indenpent to search, hunt, find and control any chances encountered. Chance is simply the stairs for you to climb up onto stage. It's all matter if you have found the right stairs to climb forward.

Therefore, please, if you have sense or even see by yourself that "This is the right stair", please do not let go easily. Find out the smoothest way to climb up the stairs; step by step, you will be able to reach the stage and by then, you are the glory of the night.

Petrol Saving Techniques

Heavy recession; lack of subsidize; high rate of unemployment; employees laid off and the deduction of salaries and wages are negative symptons of current economy. Here are some of the ways i sought out from newspaper this morning on the techiques of petrol saving:

(1) never ever fil full of your petrol tank; as full petrol will increase the weight of your car; heavier car would mean more consumption on your car's petrol. It is advisable to fill up to 70%; 70% will be enough.

(2) Be alert when you press the petrol pedal; never ever rush in pressing it.

(3) Let go of your petrol pedal when you almost reach the red light; let the car moves to front by itself rather than sudden pressing of brake pedal; which consumes more petrol.

(4) DO not turn on your car's air con if it is not a necessary. This can save up to 16% of your petrol. If there is a need to switch on the air con due to the sun burn weather or rainy day, switch the air con to minimum level - level 1, which can save up 6% of your petrol.

(5) Be sure that city drive to be maintained at 40 - 50 km per hour, whereas, highway drive to be maintained at 80 - 90 km per hour; for an optimum of petrol consumption.

(6) Do not place too much 'unwanted' things in your car; so as to reduce the weight of your car which will eventually reduce the petrol consumption.

(7) One can consider the usage of petrol savings gadget. (There is a gadget to be connected to the car; forgot the exact name of the gadget ready, perhaps can seek help from car accessories technician)

(8) Do not forget to get yourself a bonuslink card or discount card for cheaper petrol purchase as well as to collect points for gift exchanged next time.

Last but not least, happy driving to you all and may all the above techniques can help each and everyone of us here to save petrol.

Coughing for Two Nights

I've been coughing for two nights since yesterday; causing me unable to fall back to sleep again once i woke up. It's kinda tiring to cough for whole night; whereby i actually want to take a good rest and sleep after my exam. And that's why you can see me hanging around blog area here in the early morning here as i'm unable to back to my sleep.

Later on after my activity, i will go to get another medicine, most probably is chinese herbs and medicine to try out for faster curenest. Hope that tonight i will have a nice sleep and won't be troubled by my cough.

Human's Behaviour

I list out some of the human's behaviour that i've come across:

(1) ambitious - This person will always have plan (current or future), objectives and have expectations. This person is normally have high ethusiasm in each and every of his/ her work and is always open-minded.

(2) sincere - those who are your true friends and always there with you whenever you are in a dismay situation or face with problems.

(3) 'puteri lilin' - you will see this person with her umbrella anywhere, anyplace, hiak hiak :-D

(4) '人小鬼大' - well, mostly reflects to my students who acts more like an 'adult', i suppose =.=''

(5) 'Dreamer' - person whose words speak louder than actions; rather than the vice versa

(6) '义气' - person who can fight for you, and share every joyous or hardship together with you.

(7) materialistic - person who tells you 'i approach you because you are useful to me, if not, i won't approach you'.

(8) over-confidence - person who have extremely high confidence that he/she believes in everything they do are all correct. They even like to judge you based on their confidence.

(9) timid - i suppose i'm slightly one of this type, scare of standing and speaking in front of crowds and handle new things.

(10) 好恋 - no comment on this :-D

(11) 忧郁 - person who can't face reality of life. They need courage from friends.

(12) superstitious - person who believes lots in unatural things.

(13) time conscious - person who never late in any occassion and duties they are involved in.

(14) passion - person who never gives up and puts continue efforts in the interest or things they like. Normally, they will bear fruitful results with their passion in every work. I hope i can be one of this person too. ;-)

Time is Precious!

Every 'tick tock tick tock' sound made by the clock scared me. The sounds reflect the passing of the time, and that the time is passing tremendous fast these few days. My exam is just around the corner; three more days to go. I haven't able to finish studying my book. How i wish i do not waste my previous days... How i wish i have more days and time to study....

I am a bit tension; as it seems that time isn't enough for me. Tomorrow night i have to go to Toastmaster; and the day after tomorrow i'll need to accomplish my tutor job. And whoa, the coming Saturday will be my exam!

There is not much time for me to waste now, so i have made up my mind. I've decided to take one day off and fully study at Library.

Currently, what i could think of is there is no use of turning back now. All the problems come by me (time management & procrastination problems) and therefore, i'll need solve my problems before it gets worse.

It makes me realize how precious the time is.
