Landslide

There's another landslide happening at Kampung Lereng Bukit along Miri-Pujut Highway yesterday after the hit at shell petrol station. I heard my friend say that five houses were affected. Thank God that nobody was hurt.

Recent heavy rain has caused the soil to rot away; causing landslide. Pits are seen everywhere on road, especially along pujut 7 road to traffic light section.

Friends, be careful while driving. Watch out for the pits as they will affect the allignment of your car! Drive slow in high rise water level area to avoid the penetration of water into the car's ekzos! Watch out for the hill area. If possible, do not drive to hill area especially during midnight!

Mandarin Orange juice

Has anybody tried out mandarin orange juice? Today, my mum uses the Mandarin Orange to blend them into juice. We have this suggestion due to the load of mandarin orange at my house. My mum uses six pieces of them to make into two cups of this juice. Imagine... we just simply blend all the mandarin orange without adding water in it. As in our thought, we think that this will give concentrated juice which is nice for appetite. After five minutes of preparation, finally.... the special juice is borned!!!

The juice is terribly concentrated. I feel like i eating bubur (porridge). =.='''

There are seeds 'broken into pieces' inside the juice. Poor seeds. =.='''

I succeeded to drink half of them, and the remaining.... forgive me i have to do something bad to the drink.. i pour them into the basin and wash away. Can't manage to finish the drink, too many 'pieces of thing' inside. =.='''

My mum doesn't give up. She make another round. Three more mandarin orange to go. However, my mum adds some water inside for this term. Yet, the result isn't satisfied.

Nine mandarin oranges are gone like that.

In short, i think mandarin oranges are not suitable for making into juice. We have to try out anything, don't we? Like the phrase stated in ah long ptd movie:

"belum cuba, belum tau. Sekali cuba, tiap tiap hari mau" XD

A Phone Call

I received a phone call from Tan, my study group leader yesterday. He called for study encouragement and he encouraged us a lot to participate in uni forum. Be active in forum is a necessary for all students as it contributes 5 marks to our coursework. Do not belittle on that 5 marks, which i used to be, as it could make a difference to our final marks. My previous sudject - Learning Skills for Distance Learning has got an 'F' for it. How lazy i has become >.< Friends, when you see this, do not be surprise. Yes, that is me and i have gotten an 'F' for my online forum study. Luckily there is assignment to help me push up the marks.

I wonder, how could i no longer put much effort in study? Is that due to my work load? or worse yet, my laziness has conquered me? hmm... i wonder.....

Thanks to Tan call who reminds me to put in effort in study. Luckily is in the same group with a good leader! =)

Cloth Shopping (血拼)

CNY is coming soon; which is just in a week of time. Today, i shop for quite a number of places - Duo Fashion, In Fashion, Imperial Mall, Up 2 U, Roger Yong, Happy Fashion, Shinzuku, Mitsu, Na Na and Lea Centre. Finally, after few attempts failed, i am able to brought home with some clothes today; some are for New Year wearing and some are for working wearing. Overall it costs me RM151.00 for four clothes and 1 set of stockings. I haven't bought New Year trousers yet; i suppose that i might go for another shopping within these few days (trouser shoping plan). :P Thanks to Cheryl, GT and Jennifer for their accompaniment and precious opinions while buying clothes. :-)

3rd Sem 1st Tutorial

Today is my first tutorial class for the 3rd semester of my degree study. Altogether there are three subjects - Financial Management I, Information System for Management and Company Law for this term. I started off my class with Financial Management early morning 8am. It is amazed to say that i actually quite tune in to this subject; which before this i've never expected the subject could be taught in an interesting way. I used to thought that financial subjects are boring subjects. Thanks to Mr. Kong, the tutor for this subject who change my perpective towards this subject, making me started to fall in love to financial subjects. Who knows, i might involve in financial duty in future time!

The second subject - Information System for Management is a quite... boring subject for me. Perhaps i have taken the subject before during my diploma study. hmm.. looks like i have to take it as a revision subject so that it can motivate me to learn the subject. Who knows, i can find out more things and resources from the book that can actually improve my I.T knowledge. =)

The third subject -Company Law. This subject is very useful for working people especially people from admistrative department because it is mostly counted on company important documents such as Form 24 & 49, M&A Form and so on. This subject is mainly based on memory usage (lots of terms and definitions needed to be momorised) which i think i need to prepare early for the exam for this subject.

Three subjects for this semester would mean three assignments for me to catch up for this sem too. My early procastination attitude during semester 2 had caused me burning midnight oil for the subject. This time is not going to repeat the bad habits. Gonna start my assignment soon after CNY. :)

Cell Group Meeting

16/1/09

Xiao Huan and i went to cell group meeting at 8pm today. Our reaching at the place was quite smooth and it was only one way straight forward till reach the desired juntion. With that, i must conclude to say that my road direction has started to improved a bit and slowly will be far far away from the title of 'Road idiot'. XD

Today we shared on blessings and New Year Resolution. I was a bit shy actually when reached day. First, we reached there with no idea which house should we go in. Luckily finally got people notice us (for sure two sparkling ladies won't run away by their eyes!!! haha! XD) and brought us in!

After the sharing, we had some instant noodles and Longan for supper. After that, both of us went home. And here i am; after going home, continue my journey at blog here. :P Anyway, the time now is 2.15am, have to go to sleep now. If not, panda wouldn't give me a chance and he will copy and paste his eyes on me!!!! Ah!! ZZzzzzz.... Good Night! XD

Kelab Golf Miri

Dated 10 Jan 2009, jennifer brought me to Kelab Golf Miri. My first time of being at the club there. It was actually the annual dinner for the golf club and the theme for that night was New Year Celebration. Our attire were fixed to red colour. I wore pink at that time :P. It was an enjoyable moement and for the first time; after the WZT Management dinner, this club prepared lots of lucky draws (64 of them altogether). Jennifer and i didn't manage to grab any lucky draw home but nevertheless, at least we came out together and had some fun there! :) I think perhaps we didn't wear 'RED' enough that day! hehe! XD

Friends' Gathering

Happened to have old school classmate gathering at double star last Friday - 9/1/09. There were about nine of us - Julia, Nelson, Seng Yee, Rachel, Andrea, Ing Ing, Alan, me and the 'same old' Patrick :P. Nelson and i arrived a little bit late due to my late home from work around 6pm. We have our gathering started at 6.30pm and was great to be able to meet with Julia after one year we haven't seen each other. She was actually just returned from her study at UK. I suppose it was a great moment for her. :) The gathering ended at early time; which is around 8.30pm. All of us went home peace and safe and i was glad that the rain poured down after managed to get home. Of course, the same old Patrick will give us a ring as usual to confirm about...... =.=''' Sometimes that i'm not sure should feel glad or drop sweat. Between, he's still a good friend to be. XD

On Sunday - 11/1/09, some of us came out and had our lunch at Tasty Point. The same old Patrick has 'kek' us a lot that i suppose each and everyone of us who ever approached him will have a 'temporarily' high blood pressure within that limit of time. XD After having lunch, we went to CA Centre for seeking nutrition information and some of us go for trying their facial wash and make up too. After that, we had small drinks at Kokoberry. I ordered something called grape champaign. The name sounds nice but hmm.... doesn't really satisfy my taste. I still love the 'pink Lady' drink there. Perhaps of it natural and traditional flavour. :) This drink i recommended to Xiao Huan too!

We went home around 6.00pm, whereby at time was having heavy rain. Thank God for giving a pleasant journey with friends and to be able to reach home safely.

'Date' with a Doctor

Poor me have to 'date' with a doctor that night to seek for doctor prescribe and cureness for my Hordeoleum :(. Remember my earlier post on it? I went to see Doctor Yeo on 7pm and when i reach there, got a long queue to go. My turn was around 8.25pm... -_-''' Luckily, my mum accompany me to wait there.

Doctor advised me not to take any 'hot & spicy' food, seafood as well as nuts food including sesame. That night, i brought home with 12 capsules (kefloxin) and 1 eye ointment; cost me RM27. Luckily wasn't too expensive.

Looks like these whole week i couldn't take much enjoyment on food. Mostly will on pure veges.

Women Talk

Started 1pm, the three ladies - Lina, Jennifer and Cheryl come out and meet up at Boulevard Area. One of them, Jennifer, the CEO had set up a task to get an oven for baking. And the other two - Cheryl and Lina, the 'advisors' come and assist Jennifer in the purchase in oven. In the end, the three ladies sat up at a cafe shop to further discuss about the issue. The mission is going to be continue....

Hordeoleum :(

Always, when my first attend to any places; working place, birthday party, concert and so forth... there will be obstacles for me that obstruct me - hordeoleum (眼针) :(

On this day - my first time of going to Grace Methodist Church; very unfortunate, this happen to me once again. How i hope it didn't happen to me. Why is that this thing wanted to follow me? Can't it just leave me alone? Sigh :(

First day of going to a place should be able to bring up the live and spirit in ourselves so that we are able to socialize with them. What's more, first time on how we appear will leave impression on people. I must have left a 'unique' impression on them. wuwuwu~~ T_T

Half Day Working - Saturday

Finally, my precious Saturday no need to work for half day! My boss had allowed me for working for half day on every Saturday. Wuhoo!!!

Half Day working would mean.... more times for me to do my own favourite things. Now, i can spend more time at home with my family. church, and outdoor activities. Perhaps i will take up a part time job to outsource more income and as a way to discipline myself too. I wanted to learn something new and different to increase my knowledge. If i happen to got enough money, i want to take up photoshop coourse. Learning simple design; especially on image editing has always fascinating me!!! Back to the day, 7pm, my brother, Justin and i represented company to go to a dinner organized by WZT Management. This was my 2nd time to attend the dinner organized by them. From my two times experience for the dinner, i can conclude to say that this dinner is the most generous dinner i've attended - Door gifts, souvenirs, FIVE rounds of Lucky Draws (all presents are very attractive and worthwhile). Luck wasn't on our side that day. My brother and i didn't manage to get a prize home. Haiz~~~ Sitting with us was a family of four. Three of them won the Lucky Draw - one of the presents is "Tupperware" bottles and box! How Lucky! Congratulations on them! :)

Hmm.... at least my brother and i brought back the door gifts, the umbrella! Ha ha!!! Eh, tell you all o, that night on our way back cum cum rainy day le.... so, i considered both of us lucky as well to have umbrella as our door gifts!! ^^

不一样的感觉~~

我经历了好几个人身的第一次~~
(一)首次参加倒数
(二)首次赢到幸运抽奖^^
(三)首次凌晨一点多回家
(四)首次忘了约了朋友>.<

31/12/08, 7.30PM - 在很匆忙的状况下, 我来到了民市中心参加倒数. 当晚,朋友做MC,想告诉你, "你知道吗? 你主持到好棒哦!" 我也希望我有一天能站在台上主持!

在凌晨大约十二点半左右,从抱着一刻颗平凡心情突然转去突击的兴奋,从未想象到我也有机会被抽到幸运抽奖呢!好高兴!虽然只是小小份的礼物 - 戏票,但我已经很满足了.^^ 此刻我发现人生决不能太过悲观噢!必须对自己有信心!

当晚,我好暗回到家.第一次到游夜到凌晨. 虽然是凌晨一点多了,马路上的车还是蛮多.想必其他的美里人也是从倒数回家路途中吧!

回到家后,没马上睡,懒惰睡>.<.洗澡后,我打开电脑跑去看戏了,看着的是一部偶像剧 - <不良笑花>



这部戏我从第一集看到最后一集,从头笑到尾.有时在家还会模仿"小花"的天真讲话方式.哈哈!在这部戏里,我学到一个另我印象深刻的名词" 呼呼". " 呼呼"究竟是什么呢?那就是唐门(WILBER饰)的吹风机).时不时,当小花很开心时,她都会说" 呼呼",也就是我们通常会说的'YEAH!'或'YES!".很可爱,对吧? :)

三点多时我终于甘愿跑去睡了.睡了大概六个钟,九点多醒来了.

吃了个早餐,我于我哥到EMART逛逛,买些准备做紫菜和薄饼的材料,然后就回家了.

中午时间大部分都在看戏,与家人聊天.

5.30PM,我跟ING ING去跑步.也许太久没跑步了,跑不到一圈,整个人感觉到好累,胃也痛痛的.ING ING 也是同感.休息一会儿,我们继续跑,忘了我们跑了多少圈,但还不错,大家都流了很多汗,想必排了好多毒素.:P

(在我写的当儿,我发现到原来我不知道ING ING的中文名怎么写呢~~呵呵!:P)

7.30PM,接到乃胜的的电话,才发现到我约了他却忘了!哎呀!我脑袋怎么了?怎么会忘记了呢?也许我不够睡吧!之后赶快冲到目的地去!还好他没生气!:)

回家后吃我弟弟做的POPIAH.不错吃下!

这样一天又过咯!
