FOCUS!

FOCUS!!! Yes, the word FOCUS has encouraged me a lot to improve my weakness. According to Loo, through his observation, he've found that i'm a type of person who speak with words that grow 'branches'. You may wonder 'words with branches'? hmm... sound funny... yea, that is how he has described my wordings. 'Branches' in this case means 'extra' or 'too much' thinking of unnessary stuff.

Say a scenario which can be seen clearly is during the plan of buying car cushion. I got lots thought on this. Before the purchase, i note down that my budget for car cushion shall not exceed RM200. Plan to get a nice and cheaper one if possible. Therefore, i started to hunt for car accessories shop to get the price details. My first hunt is to Pelita Tun Sin Car Accessories. What i could say about my hunting is...... the price is too far from my budget, for original 'Coolmax' brand ( http://www.coolmax.com.my/main.htm ) car cushion take me RM380 for the installation. The price, is yet after my bargain to the boss there. After that, i went to Seberkas Wa Hong Car Accessories, few options available - there is RM200 ++ cushion available (plain type), for 'coolmax' they sell for RM480 >.< ooopss..... On my way back home, i hunt for another near my housing area there called Top Car Accessories. They offer price around RM350 - RM380 for 'Coolmax' type and RM300 for 'Cool Leather' type.

My Initial Plan, Thought and Budget - RM200 for getting a plain one will be enough as long as can protect car seat so that won't get dirty easily

1st hunt at pelita Tun Sin: found RM380 car cushion: out of my budget; yet at that time started having the thought of getting that expensive car cushion although under my budget

2nd hunt at Seberkas Wa Hung: found RM200 and RM300 car cushion; RM200 is exactly meet my requirements; yet started to complain on the quality; the thought of getting 'plain' is far away from my mind ready

3rd hunt at Top Car Accessories: found RM300 - RM400: in consideration

In the end, i back home with lots of thoughts ('branches') and keep on thinking on which shall i buy.

After that, got a chance meet up with a friend, who also happens to have the same viva car as mine. She installed hers at Parkson Area there, hmm.. not too sure about the shop name; if not mistaken is Tun Sen Car Accessories (东昇). She fixed it for around RM180, which is once again meet my requirement.

4th hunt: friend's recommendation: RM180 'Coolmat' brand of car cushion ('Coolmat is actually an imitation of 'Coolmax', but it doesn't show much difference and look nice too). However, my 'branches' don't stop at the way they are, they continue to grow that i even got this thought in my mind 'scare people laugh and scare people found out i buy imitation', arrgh.. too much self-conscious T_T, should have thrown this thought out)

5th hunt: through the search of yellow pages - seeking for more and more shops..... never ending... ('branches and branches' grow)


Guess did i manage to get my car cushion at the end? No, i didn't get it in the end. This is because i can't FOCUS on the things i want, which will put a drastic end to my want. When we can't FOCUS, when we just keep on thinking other unnessary matters (as above case), we cannot succeed. F.O.C.U.S, in other words, means Follow One Course Until Successful. We have to put our mind straight, yes, STRAIGHT TO THE POINT AND THINGS WE WANT! Others ('BRANCHES') are just unnessaries thinking that obstruct our course to success. Do not let 'branches' grow. Once a branch is grow, it will continue expand. BEWARE!
